DescriptionEstablished in 2017, the Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Booz Allen Hamilton, the worldwide consulting, analytics, digital solutions, engineering and cyber firm. While the Foundation was established to focus on youth and education, veterans and military families, global health, and assistance in times of disaster, it currently focuses its grantmaking on programs and projects that leverage technology to improve and amplify social structures and build generational resilience. Grantmaking is currently focused on inspiring and empowering diverse populations to explore and pursue new pathways of opportunity for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) careers and careers in advanced technology. During times of disaster, the Foundation not only awards financial support, but may serve as a trusted resource for knowledge, expertise, and technology to ensure local communities are better prepared to address disaster and resiliency needs.
