There were 2,365 cyberattacks in 2023 affecting over 353 million individuals - 27% of which were nonprofits worldwide who were victims of a cybersecurity incident. Sadly, due to sensitive donor information and outdated security procedures, nonprofits are particularly vulnerable to cyberattacks.
In a cyber crisis, how you respond has become more important than the incident itself. Recent developments in cyberattack tactics during this era of expanded remote work have made cyber threats an even greater risk to a company's reputation. In this webinar, experts from Leidar, a leading cyber crisis communications firm, will speak on protecting your reputation in a cyber crisis, including the dos and don'ts of cyber crisis response and reputational lessons from recent breaches. Leidar has handled the communications for more than 85 cyber incidents in the last year.
Learning Objectives:
How nonprofits can communicate effectively with their donors, employees, and other partners in the midst of a cyber event
What to do during a cyber incident to protect your nonprofit's reputation
Key indicators of when a company can return to normal
Steps nonprofits should be taking now to prepare and protect their reputations in the next breach and maintain their resilience
