Society for Nonprofits is seeking qualified candidates to serve on our Board of Directors. The Society is rebuilding and renewing its efforts to serve our mission and membership. A strong board is a critical part of achieving success in these areas.
Board service with Society of Nonprofits is a unique opportunity to develop the kind of board you've always wanted to serve on. From board culture to board member engagement to diversity, we're rebuilding it all!
Want to explore this opportunity? Here are the steps!
- Review the Society for Nonprofits board member job descriptions for our members at large and officers.
- Determine if you are ready to complete the candidate form and explore the opportunity further.
- Complete the board candidate form and submit your resume by December 31, 2020.
- Society will contact select candidates by January 15, 2021 to schedule brief one-on-one conversations with two individuals from the organization. Bring your questions.
- Final candidates will be selected and notified.
- Board orientation will be scheduled for incoming board members.
- Welcome! Join in your first board meeting.
