Laurie Ballard is the President of LMB Development Consulting, a consulting company that supports nonprofit organizations in identifying, developing and implementing short- and long-term strategies that promote growth and build long-term sustainability. Laurie has 25 years' experience in the nonprofit sector. She has held a range of Executive and Senior level positions throughout her career and understands the day-to-day challenges faced by nonprofits in managing day to day operations, recruiting and retaining a diverse pool of staff and Board members, building relationships, and securing revenue. She has effectively developed tools and strategies in meeting these challenges. Throughout her career, Laurie has designed a successful development approach that has resulted in the securing of numerous national, state, and federal grants, major gifts, and community partnerships. Laurie's work includes Strategic Planning, Campaign Planning, Leadership and Management Training, Board Development, and Strategic Fundraising and Communications.
Liz Forster, Owner
LCF Grant Consulting, LLC
Liz C. Forster, GPC is the owner of LCF Grant Consulting, LLC. Since 2017, she has secured over $22 million in grants for clients in diverse sectors including child care, K-12 education, workforce development, municipal grants, disability services, food insecurity, animal welfare, and performing arts. She is based in Alfred, New York and holds a B.F.A. in Art History with a Minor in Business from Syracuse University and an M.A. in Museum Studies from SUNY Oneonta. Prior to becoming a full-time grant consultant, she worked in several museums and served for five years as the Program Director for a 21st Century Community Learning Centers after-school program. She is a self-taught Excel nerd who loves a good rubric. In 2024, Liz received her Grant Certified Professional (GPC) credential through the Grant Professionals Certification Institute.
