The Paperless Choice Challenge will reward successful, creative, and replicable campaigns that use e-mail, Web sites, video, social media, widgets, and mobile, anything that’s moving the organization away from traditional, paper-based direct mail fund-raising. The Organization's Incident Emergency Fund is a rapid response mechanism for human rights defenders, journalists, activists, women, LGBTQIA+ groups, and organizations facing digital threats and attacks. The Fund covers the replacement of hardware or software which has been taken, lost, or stolen; the purchase of more secure hard- and/or software and costs related to installation of the new system; technical or non-technical activities to respond to urgent issues such as internet blockages; measures to improve physical security related to information management and digital security; and measures to address the psychological and psychosocial impacts of digital threats and risks.
