DescriptionThe Network funds projects in areas important to its mission. As the nation’s premier repository of biomedical information, the Network has a vital interest in information management and in the enormous utility of computers and telecommunication for improving storage, retrieval, access, and use of biomedical information. The Network’s regional grant program advances the progress of medicine and improves public health by providing all U.S. health professionals with equal access to biomedical information and improving the public’s access to information to enable them to make informed decisions about their health. Grants are limited to members of the Network. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis with various deadlines. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
