DescriptionThe Museum’s mission is to engage people of all ages and backgrounds in science and technology experiences that educate, inform, provoke thought, and inspire action. The Museum’s annual Tech Awards are designed to inspire global engagement in applying technology to humanity’s most pressing problems. The Awards recognize individuals, organizations, and companies from around the world that are utilizing innovative technology solutions to address urgent issues in the five categories of education, equality, environment, health, and economic development. Individuals, for-profit companies, and nonprofit organizations are eligible to submit applications. Self-nominations are accepted. Three laureates in each of the five categories will be honored and one laureate per category will receive $50,000. Nominations are accepted year-round.
