Conservation Alliance
Category: Environment
DescriptionThe Alliance is a group of outdoor businesses that supports efforts to protect specific wild places throughout North America for their habitat and recreation values. The Alliance targets its grantmaking toward organizations whose work protects a specific wild land or waterway for its habitat and recreational values. The campaign should engage grassroots citizen action in support of the conservation effort. All projects should be quantifiable with specific goals, objectives, and action plans, and should include a clear measure for evaluating success. Ideally, the project should have a good chance of either closure or significant measurable results over a fairly short term. The Alliance ONLY accepts applications from organizations that have been nominated by one of their member companies. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
