DescriptionThe Organization’s Jazz Ensembles program supports the creation and performance of ensemble works in the jazz idiom. Eligible applicants are professional jazz ensembles led by or including a composer/performer. Ensembles must be members of Chamber Music America in order to apply. Ensembles must consist of a core group (from 2 to 10 musicians) with a demonstrated history of performing original music featuring jazz improvisation. Guidelines are available on the Web site.
