Description

The Foundation’s International Humanitarian Prize honors organizations that have made extraordinary contributions to alleviating human suffering anywhere in the world. The $1.5 million prize is presented annually to an established nonprofit, charitable, or non-governmental organization. Not a grant based on future goals, the award is for recent and historic accomplishments. Nominated organizations must have an operating budget greater than $500,000. An identification sheet, to be completed and signed by the nominator, is available on the Web site. All nominations must be received or postmarked by Nov. 1, 2007. Fax and e-mailed nominations are acceptable.
