DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the famous jeweler. It awards grants to organizations dedicated to the education and preservation of the arts and those involved with environmental conservation. Through the Arts program, the Foundation supports the work of institutions dedicated to the decorative arts. It also focuses on organizations involved on the preservation and conservation of national cultural treasures. Grants are awarded to selected arts and cultural institutions in New York City as well as to undergraduate and graduate programs dedicated to the study of jewelry and silver design. Environmental grants support organizations that focus on the conservation of natural resources in the areas of responsible mining, coral reef conservation, and land protection.
