DescriptionThe Fund, the philanthropic arm of an insurance company, supports fire departments and other public agencies around the world in their fight to prevent fires. Fire departments and brigades as well as national, state, regional, local, and community organizations can apply for funding to support a wide array of fire prevention, preparedness, and control efforts. Of particular interest are programs that showcase how to fight fires in sprinklered buildings, fire and arson prevention and investigation programs, fire prevention education and training programs, and pre-fire planning for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. Applicants may request a grant application packet by completing an online request form. Applications may be submitted throughout the year; requests are reviewed quarterly.
