DescriptionOne of the larger independent grantmaking organizations in the United Kingdom, the Foundation focuses its funding on organizations that seek to maximize opportunities for individuals to experience a full quality of life, now and in the future. The Foundation is particularly interested in programs that address issues with children and youth. Topics considered for funding include the arts, education and learning, and social justice. The Foundation also earmarks some funds for work in India. Within each program there are special initiatives as well as an open grant category. Special initiatives are targeted, time-limited programs with specific criteria. Applications can be sent in at any time for the Open Grant category.
