Baseball Tomorrow Fund
Category: Sports
DescriptionThe Fund is a joint initiative between Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association. The Fund’s mission is to promote and enhance the growth of youth participation in baseball and softball throughout the world. Grants fund programs, fields, coaches’ training, and the purchase of uniforms and equipment to encourage and maintain youth participation in the game. The Fund also provides educational support to grant recipients, as well as applicants, to help youth baseball and softball organizations become self-sufficient and more effective. The Fund is most interested in projects that increase the number of youth participating in baseball and softball programs; improve the quality of youth baseball and softball programs; and create new or innovative ways of expanding and improving the programs. Potential programs should generate matching funds and address access for children ages 10 to 16. Grants are intended to finance a new program, expand or improve an existing program, undertake a new collaborative effort, or obtain facilities or equipment. Letters of inquiry may be submitted at any time. The deadline is for applications.
