DescriptionThe Foundation's Special Grant Program in the Chemical Sciences offers support to eligible institutions for projects that advance the science of chemistry in innovative ways. Examples include the increase of public understanding, and appreciation of the chemical sciences; environmental chemistry; innovative approaches to chemistry education at the graduate, undergraduate, and K-12 levels; and programs that help make chemistry careers more attractive, particularly to underrepresented groups. The Jun. 2 deadline is for preliminary proposals. The deadline for complete proposals is Aug. 25.
