DescriptionThe Foundation’s Rural Initiative program supports professional development programs in the arts in rural communities. The Foundation funds professional artists teaching performing arts in public schools as well as in-school arts specialists who teach performing arts in the public schools. Funding interests include dance, music or theater based on a specific pedagogy and arts curricula integrated into a school’s standard curriculum. Applicants are asked to fill out an online letter of intent.
