Corman Foundation
Category: Religion
DescriptionThe Foundation’s Touch 1 program was founded to employ workers displaced by the sale of a former company as well as to create a source of funding for evangelical Christian organizations to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Foundation’s distribution policy targets one third of its funds to domestic organizations and two thirds to international organizations, specifically those in Eastern Europe, Eurasia, South Asia, and parts of Western Africa. The Foundation’s primary emphasis is the funding of evangelical efforts directly aimed at securing the salvation of individuals and providing for the discipleship and training of God’s people for Christian witness. Organizations whose principal objective is meeting physical needs will be considered if they have a substantial secondary emphasis on proclaiming the gospel of Christ in conjunction with addressing physical needs.
