Description

Founded by the creator of Specialty Records, one of the most prominent independent recording companies and later, the Artex Oil Company, the Foundation?s Dorothy Rupe Caregiver Program is dedicated to improving the lives of caregivers in the United States who are providing at-home support to a loved one with dementia. Support is provided for respite programs and training and educational resources for family, professional, and volunteer caregivers. In addition, the Foundation also offers the Dorothy Rupe CNA Program Grants of up to $60,000 to accredited California community colleges for certified nursing assistant and home health aide programs that provide entry-level healthcare training for students.
