Description

This Atlanta-based nonprofit regional arts organization aims to empower artists, organizations, and communities and increase access to arts and culture. The Organization's Jazz Road is an artist-centric touring and residency grants program to spread jazz throughout the country, strengthen work opportunities and compensation for jazz artists, and bolster deeper engagement between jazz musicians, presenters, and communities. Tours grants are awarded in support of small, three- to six-site tours at various venue types, often in rural communities and other areas traditionally underserved by the genre. Eligible tour routing will span three to six sites on contiguous dates. Only individual artists (as an individual, an artist-led nonprofit, or an artist-led corporation) may apply to the program. The deadline is for tours taking place between Jan. 1, 2026 and June 1, 2026. Details about who is eligible and when to apply can be found on the Web site.
