DescriptionThe Foundation works to foster the dharma and preserve and promote the Buddhist religion. The Foundation's Academic Development Grants work to ensure that authentic Buddhist studies that once existed only in Asian monasteries and dharma centers are conducted at the highest level of academic excellence. Grants are awarded to strengthen academic Buddhist study and research as well as to offer outreach programs to students on campus, the community, and the public.
