DescriptionEstablished by screenwriter, director, and producer Colin Higgins, the Foundation supports organizations that build the power and leadership of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth ages 13 to 24. Organizations should have grassroots organizing and/or comprehensive leadership development; work with historically underprivileged constituencies; strive to bring about institutional change in the legal, political, economic, or cultural structures that impact LGBT youth; and work to link LGBT youth to other organizations and social justice movements.
