DescriptionThe Trust, a Christian organization located in the United Kingdom, has as its mission to support social change as an expression of its Christian values. The Trust achieves this by focusing on innovative ideas or ways to address issues of poverty; backing people or groups in the early stages of new ventures; backing organizations seeking a significant “step-change” in their work and, at a fundamental level, their own organizational capacity. The Trust also has a hands-on approach to grantmaking, seeking to add value with a blend of governance, management, advice, and input. The Trust emphasizes funding emerging needs. As such it funds proposals that are innovative, replicable, and sustainable and rarely supports work similar to what it has in the past or is currently supporting. There is no application, but a Funding Process Document is available online.
