DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Academy which invests in people, research, and communities to improve the sleep health of all people. The Academy?s Community Sleep Health and Public Awareness Grant supports a variety of projects and initiatives focused on addressing local, national, and global sleep health needs. The Grant is open to humanitarian, education, or awareness projects that focus on improving sleep health, sleep disorder evaluation and/or treatment in the community. Priority is given to projects that target underserved or disadvantaged groups. Grants are awarded in two categories: Category I is for applicants seeking funding for projects up to $50,000 and covers a project period of up to two years. Category II is for applicants seeking funding for projects up to $25,000 for a project period of one year. Additional information including application instructions can be found on the Web site.
