DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the dive industry. It’s committed to conserving underwater environments through education, advocacy, and action. Offices in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Switzerland, and Japan combine efforts to protect aquatic resources in 175 countries. The Foundation’s funding emphases are coral reef conservation, shark protection, sustainable fisheries, ecotourism related to underwater environments, aquatic education especially for children, and direct conservation activities for shoreline, underwater cleanups, and mooring buoy installation/maintenance.
