DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the professional basketball Organization. The Foundation's mission is to drive economic opportunity in the Black community through employment and career development by funding programs that generate successful transition from school to meaningful employment for Black youth. The Foundation provides support to nonprofits operating in NBA markets that promote school-to-career employment opportunities for Black youth ages 14 to 24, including job readiness, skill training, job placement, and career advancement. Applicant organizations must serve Black youth within an NBA market and serve a minimum of 25 youth annually. Some information as well as application instructions can be found on the Web site.
