DescriptionThe U.S.-based philanthropic arm of the global industrial technology Company, the Foundation's grantmaking seeks to empower the next generation of engineers and to support communities where they live and work. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on two areas: STEM (science/technology/engineering/mathematics) Education and Community Support. Grants in the STEM area seek to create equitable access to underserved communities; empower crucial thinking and problem-solving skills; and further education and career opportunities to inspire future leaders. Grants in the Community Support area focus on food insecurity, homeless services and shelters, social and economic mobility, and the environment.
