DescriptionThe Foundation is dedicated to enhancing fire departments across the United States. Through its Jeremiah Lucey Grant Program, the Foundation provides funding to paid and volunteer fire departments throughout the country in the following areas; training to enhance the professional development of departments; equipment, so that fire departments are outfitted with the best possible equipment to help keep firefighters and the communities they serve safe, and technology, to ensure that fire departments update along with technological advances.
