DescriptionThe Foundation has launched its Youth Service Improvement grant program. Grants will support activities in the New York metropolitan area to improve the quality of services for youth between the ages of 8 and 25. Applicants must provide services to youth located in the Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Putnam, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, Suffolk, and Westchester counties in New York; Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, and Union counties in New Jersey; and Fairfield, New Haven, and Litchfield counties in Connecticut. Organizations must have an operating budget of between $250,000 and $5 million. Proposals will be accepted between March and April 2007.
