Description

The Foundation has two grant programs. The Melody Program targets qualified K-12 school music programs in need of assistance. The Special Projects Program targets community schools of the arts, after school programs, and youth orchestras in need of assistance. The special project program funds instrument repair and the acquisition of new instruments. To be eligible, new music programs must be part of an umbrella organizations that is at least three years old; the applicant must have a written plan for the use of the donated instrument(s); the applicant must be engaged in ongoing fundraising efforts; and the applicant must present a compelling need for the instruments. Applications are available online.
