DescriptionThe Organization offers advocacy, support, and resources for people who suffer from misophonia, a condition that causes strong reaction to certain sounds, so that they may lead productive and serene lives. The Organization's Innovations/Kent Misophonia Neuroscience Student Research Grant awards grants to graduate students seeking to undertake brain-based studies on possible neurological causes, mechanisms, and treatments for misophonia. Grants must be used to support expenses directly related to the proposed research, including participant fees, equipment, and software, travel, computer time, submission fees, and other related expenses.
