DescriptionFounded by Axel Wenner-Gren, the founder of the Electro-Lux Corporation, the Foundation is committed to playing a leadership role in anthropology and works to help anthropologists advance knowledge, build sustainable careers, and amplify the impact of anthropology in the wider world. The Foundation's Post-PhD Research Grants Program will award grants to support individual research projects undertaken by individuals with doctorates in anthropology or a closely related field. The Program aims to bolster vibrant and significant work that furthers our understanding what it means to be human. The Program particularly welcomes proposals that integrate two or more subfields and pioneer new approaches and ideas.
