DescriptionThe philanthropic arm of the Airline, the Foundation is committed to supporting aviation-related education, and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) initiatives. The Foundation awards grants to qualifying educational organizations that are in a city where the airline currently flies (including both domestically and internationally); to educational organizations that sponsor educational STEM and/or certificate programs in aviation technology, aviation engineering, aviation operations, aviation maintenance, and/or sustainable and environmental programs in aviation. Qualified programs must serve one or more communities that are under-represented in aviation: veterans aviation education; women in aviation; under-represented diverse groups including, but not limited to the African, Asian, or Latin diaspora; members of the LGBTQ+ community, or neurodiverse and people with physical disabilities.
