DescriptionHeadquartered in Georgia, the Organization is a nonprofit regional arts organization empowering artists, organizations, and communities and working to increase access to arts and culture. The Organization's Jazz Road Tours supports small, three- to six-site tours at an array of venue types, often in rural communities and other areas traditionally underserved by the genre. Artists may apply for tours comprised of connected (contiguous) dates at venue types anywhere in the United States and its territories. Jazz Road will also prioritize applications that include engagements in rural areas or that reach underserved communities, especially those lacking opportunities to present live jazz.
