DescriptionThe Foundation was created by two San Francisco entrepreneurs who created an investment firm to reimagine the world's food supply chain. The Foundation seeks to reduce food waste and fight food insecurity by developing a dynamic, real-time, and global link between those who commercially produce food and the individuals, families, and communities who need it most. As the philanthropic arm of Lineage Transportation, the Foundation supports organizations and initiatives that address hunger, reduce food waste, and develop communities. Grant applications are evaluated to ensure they will successfully measure impact through selected social outcomes and create opportunity and expand access for historically ignored communities and populations.
