DescriptionThe Organization is the leading international nonprofit working to end industrial animal agriculture by constructing a just and sustainable food system. The Organization's People's Fund grant program addresses racial inequity in funding for advocates and organizations in the food system reform movement. It regrants funds to Black, Indigenous, and people of color activities and groups and awards funds to select grantees whose efforts include raising public awareness of the harms of industrial animal agriculture, pursuing policy change to mitigate these harms, and increase accessibility of plant-based foods. Grants are awarded to organizations that will utilize the funds in a manner that promotes veganism as a social justice practice.
