Tri-m Foundation
Category: Arts & Culture
DescriptionOriginally organized to support student performance projects at Texas State University-San Marcos, the Foundation seeks to cultivate and promote the production and presentation of regional performing and media arts through grants and gifts to new and established arts organizations and educational institutions, and through the Foundation's own salons and publications. The Foundation's Performing Arts Grant Program supports the development and presentation of innovative, high-quality performing arts projects, events, and festivals by regional nonprofit arts organizations. Funded projects should represent a unique regional perspective, and projects that address sensitive topics, controversial politics, and uncomfortable subjects are welcome. Eligible applicants include nonprofit arts organizations with annual operating budgets of under $1 million, nonprofit umbrella arts organizations, and individual artists or small arts organizations without 501C3 status who identify a nonprofit umbrella arts organization as a fiscal sponsor. Visit the Web site for additional information and application instructions.
