DescriptionThe Foundation is dedicated to the pursuit of social equity and justice, particularly given the growing disparities in the world. Grantmaking is earmarked for supporting efforts that can affect public policy. Of particular interest are projects that promote a diverse, democratic, and competitive media that serves the public interest and provides avenues for expression of First Amendment rights. The Foundation will fund content and policy projects but will also focus on expanding the pool of available funding for media policy and content. There is no standard application form. Letters of inquiry are not encouraged. The Foundation only responds to proposals.
