Category: Community
DescriptionThe Foundation’s Business and Communities Grants program seeks to address the economic isolation in America by investing in business-community partnerships that expand opportunities for people to retain and advance in their jobs, earn living wages, and accumulate savings and assets. The Foundation will also support “path-breaking business and community partnerships in order to capture lessons from leaders that can advance the field.” Projects should serve high poverty areas or communities defined by specific poverty rates or other indicators of need. Of interest are projects that demonstrate effective and innovative corporate citizenship practices and/or promote learning and adoption of good practices. Online letters of inquiry are requested; proposals are by invitation only.
