Category: Children, Youth & Families
DescriptionThe philanthropic arm of the fast casual restaurant Group, the Foundation seeks to create opportunities for children and youth to gain skills and build relationships through programs that inspire and strengthen communities. The Foundation is interested in leadership development, mentorship, and skill-building, workforce development and college readiness. The Foundation awards grants to organizations who share a common vision and purpose of investing in children and youth to become leaders. Priority is given to nonprofits that support underserved, at-risk, and historically underrepresented children and youth. Funded high school programs have historically focused on keeping youth in school to graduate and to pursue post-secondary education or start a long-term career. Funded middle school programs have focused on developing skill sets and helping children build healthy relationships with trusted adults through mentorship programs. Other programs include those that specialize in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics as well as the arts. Visit the Web site for additional information and application instructions.
