DescriptionCreated by former journalist Nina Jackel who switched careers to focus on rescuing and/or caring for animals, The Organization works to expose animal suffering that may otherwise go ignored and compel readers to join its efforts to protect animals from harm. The Organization's Urgent Need Fund supports organizations that are planning or currently working on projects to rescue or care for animals or raise awareness to improve the way animals are treated. Care may include rescue missions, medical care, food, housing, or educational programs. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
