DescriptionThe Foundation honors the legacy of its namesake. It awards grants to organizations and individuals to help improve the lives of the needy and less fortunate in the community. Grants are awarded in the following areas: education, medical research, cultural arts, and assisting the impoverished and disabled. The Foundation provides general operating support grants, capital campaign grants, emergency funds, specific project grants, capacity building grants, and endowment grants.
