Climate Emergency Fund
Category: Environment
DescriptionThe Fund supports organizations and activists who are transforming climate politics. The Fund's grantmaking is focused on the following four areas: Protesting Climate Science on TV; Climate Emergency Campaigning; Back to the Streets, and Building Movement Infrastructure. Protesting Climate Science grants support activists who are pressuring the media to tell the truth about the climate emergency. Climate Emergency Campaigning grants support the vanguard of the climate movement, in policy as well as tactics. Back to the streets supports youth activists and organizations to recapture their momentum and get safely back to protests and public demonstrations. Building Movement Infrastructure grants make strategic investments in building a climate emergency ecosystem. The Fund only awards grants to very specific, disruptive projects.
