Description

The Foundation was founded by Jack (a former utility manager) and Mabel Maddox to serve the residents of southeastern New Mexico, specifically Lea County. Grants are awarded in five areas: Social Services, Diversified Economy, Community Assets and Aesthetics, Education, and Safe, Healthy and Engaged Community. Funded projects are meant to enhance the quality of life within the community. Priority is given to projects and programs that have the potential to use Foundation monies to leverage funding from other sources and for collaboration with other agencies to serve the residents of Lea County. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
