Bissell Pet Foundation
Category: Animals & Wildlife
DescriptionThe Foundation seeks to end pet homelessness by helping to ensure that no dog or cat is euthanized and that every pet has a home. Grants are awarded for programs and projects that empty shelters, spay and neuter, support emergency response, transport animals, disaster relief, feeding those in shelters, microchipping, vaccinations, healing heartworm, and homeless pets that need a little extra help preparing for adoption and who could benefit from medical or behavioral care. To be eligible for any Foundation grant, the organization must be an approved member of its Partners for Pets program. The Partner grant cycle is open twice a year; requesting funds outside of the current cycle's focus will result in an automatic denial of the application. Additional information including application deadlines and details on the Partners for Pets program can be found on the Web site.
