DescriptionSupports philanthropic organizations that are committed to the principles of community-based philanthropy, have a record of success or potential for increased success, and demonstrate a vision for the future. The organization funds local, regional, national, or international public foundations; alternative community foundations; affinity groups/networking organizations; groups that administer donor-advised funds; donor organizing/service providers; and federations/alternative workplace giving programs. Also eligible are groups that recruit and train grassroots development staff; those that provide research, media, education, or advocacy on philanthropy; and fund-raising and grant-making collaboratives.
