Description

The Center's Gender Equality Grants Program is designed to help journalist take a new level of reporting on issues related to gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls. Because women and girls are disproportionally affected by global crises and face discrimination and violence worldwide, the Center aims to support teams that reflect the communities they report on. The hope for the grants are to help partner organizations advance their diversity, equity and inclusion goals and commitments. The opportunity is open to U.S. residents and journalists around the world including freelance journalists, staff journalists, and groups of newsrooms working in collaboration with a project idea. Additional information and application instructions can be found on the Web site.
