Jaquelin Hume Foundation

Category: Democracy & Government

The Foundation, run by the survivors of longtime California Reagan advisor, Jaquelin Hume, supports activities or organizations with a national impact and that fall into two categories. The Foundation funds project that educate youth to be better citizens, to have sound values, and to appreciate the value of free enterprise; and those that support incentive-based economy and improvement of the structure and function of government. Also of interest is the reduction of the influence of the federal government on citizenís lives. Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, creed, or sex are not funded nor are those primarily supported by tax-derived funding. Preference is given to organizations in the San Francisco Bay area or that are national in scope. Special project funding is preferred.
