DescriptionThe Center?s Small Grants Program evolved out of the efforts to address the issues arising from the Love Canal environmental disaster. The Program?s priority is to help grassroots community groups build their capacity. Grant activities can include board development, fundraising efforts, training leaders to go door-to-door, membership outreach, meeting to develop organizing/strategic plans, events that are part of the strategic plan, and equipment for communications, educational activities directly connected to the organization?s strategic plan, and general events done safely and honoring social distancing.
