DescriptionThe Foundation was created in 1957 by international financier, Albert G. McCarthy Jr. and his family. The Foundation is a family-based charitable organization primarily dedicated to supporting overseas Catholic mission activities in less developed countries. Funding requests must be for capital projects such as construction, equipment (including books, computers, medical equipment), and/or vehicles. The Foundation generally does not consider requests for projects located in the United States. Application instructions and some additional information can be found on the Web site.
