Disabled Veterans National Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation provides critically needed support to disabled and at-risk veterans who leave the military wounded, physically or psychologically, after defending our safety and freedom. The Foundation's Capacity Building grants are intended for nonprofits throughout the country that offer support to veterans and disabled veterans alike. Grants are awarded to organizations that are addressing the mental and physical recovery of veterans in unique ways. Funded requests are for service dogs, equine therapy, yoga, art therapy, and recreational therapy are some of the innovative programs that the Foundation will support.
